VILLAGE VOLUNTEERS

If you enjoy talking to people and sharing your knowledge of the Village and our collections, being a Village Guide is the job for you. We have a comprehensive handbook that has detailed descriptions of each building with information you will need if you wish to give Village tours. We also provide orientation with an experienced person to help you get acclimated.

Because the Village is open from 1 - 4 pm every Sunday from Memorial Day to Columbus Day, we also require a Greeter to meet visitors and collect admissions.

The main qualification for both of these jobs is enthusiasm for the Village, and the desire to get other people interested in local history.

Your commitment can be flexible. Choose the dates you are able to serve, and we will build your schedule around your personal commitments.

For more information, please contact Linda Jaggard, 748-6326.
