Village installs a new “privy” Construction has begun on a project that the NLHS Board of Directors has long considered a priority—an up-to-date bathroom facility for the Village. Builder Jay Preston is confident that our new facility will be finished and available for the 2016 season. This new "privy" will be located by the Phillips Barn and the design will blend in nicely with the 19th Century Village style and charm—all the while being ADA compliant, convenient, and family friendly. Many thanks to Bonin Architects for the pro bono plans and to Bell Construction and Jay Preston for their pricing considerations. The Village will now be just a wee bit more visitor friendly! | “Sundays in the Village” Every Sunday from May 29 – Oct. 9, 1 – 4 pm Tour the buildings and grounds New this year… Programs & activities every week Self-guided tablet tours Exhibits and collections Country Store & Gift Shop Members free; non-members $3; children under 12 free.
