The 2009 photo contest awards were announced at the Annual Meeting of the New London Historical Society on August 23. To facilitate the judging, entries were assigned ratings from one to five stars, and those receiving either four or five stars were considered as possible category winners. There were so many excellent images from which to choose that the judges had a difficult time reaching consensus, but here are the final selections and a slideshow containing all of the highly rated images.
