Rentals

Local organizations and businesses use our meeting and reception space for events throughout the year.  The facilities are welcoming and user friendly, the perfect spot for employee outings, annual meetings, or smaller gatherings, weddings, retreats, or workshops. 

Many levels of the Business Partner Membership include the use of our facilities.
       
Submit a rental inquiry in order to check availability or request a quote for a proposed event. The Rental Manager, Jody Cooper-Rubin will be delighted to meet you on site and discuss your specific event  needs.
       
​Organizations must carry their own insurance to cover potential liabilities and indemnify the society for incidents that might occur during the rental period. ​

The New London Historical Society makes available selected facilities for rental subject to terms and conditions that ensure the safety of our collection. Please review our rental information documents for more information.

Weddings

The New London Historical Society provides a special backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 guests. Our Meeting House, Phillips Barn, and open grassy areas are the perfect combination to design the wedding of your desires.

The  Historical Village is the ideal setting with the all its modern amenities for the picture-perfect day.  We are conveniently located in proximity to New London’s churches and area lodging. The design of your event in the Village will reflect your vision, and your guests will delight in a setting that makes for special and lasting memories
       

You might want to consider having Historical Village Docents available to spend time with your guests while the photographer captures some unique portraits.
